WP + SMTP Plugin = still Notification Email problem

    I’m using the latest gwoll guestbook plugin + the latest wordpress plugin.

    Because i had problems getting notification emails from your plugin i had done the following
    -> WP SMTP plugin installed and tested -> Email works from this plugin and also contact formular
    -> I put the same Email address to the configuration of gwolle guestbook

    = still no email notification

    Information about wordpress
    -> i only use an administrator no moderators or so on
    -> wordpress has also the correct email information in its settings

    What can the error be?

    Strange, this plugin just uses wp_mail, nothing else. You sure you subscribed yourself to notification mails?

    Some things that might help:
    – read the faq of the hosting provider. Sometimes they require special setups.
    – Request the maillog and see why it fails.

    For the rest, I have no access to the server or logs, and can’t do much from here.

    That was exactly the thing i needed! My account was not subscribed for notification!
