    Hi,

    I understand WPForo has inbuilt SEO and is not linked to yoast (as that’s what I use and it doesn’t ‘pick up’ the forum).

    However I saw another post somewhere that a wpforo forum sitemap was “on the to do list” back in August, I just wondered if this has yet been released and I may have missed it, or when it would be available?

    I understand WPForo has inbuilt SEO and is not linked to yoast (as that’s what I use and it doesn’t ‘pick up’ the forum).

    YOAST and other SEO plugins only work with WordPress page and post types. wpForo forums, topics and posts are not WordPress custom post types so it has no chance to be integrated. However we’ve created an intuitive and SEO friendly meta information for each part of wpForo. So wpForo is well SEO optimized and you don’t need to put SEO title and description for each topic and post, all is being done automatically with a perfect indexing result by SE bots.
    I’m sorry but the Sitemap is not available yet. It’ll be added in near future releases.

    Many thanks for your reply, I only installed WPForo yesterday and am liking what I see so far.

    I have also seen some of your other addons which are being worked on which I’m looking forward to implementing (namely private messaging, social sharing and polls), but all in all a nice looking and intuitive forum though which looks like it will only get better with time.

    Is there a way to sign up to be notified of releases/addons when these features will be added?
