    Product page on knitterain.com. I’ve excluded this page from showing the coming soon page. I’ve also tested with the site opened 100%.
    System status report

    Linked images from product short descriptions are not rendering on the product page, I see a broken link instead. If I right click and view image in a different window, it can be viewed on that page.

    I’m adding this linked image:

    <img style="border: none;" src="https://api.ravelry.com/badges/projects?p=haruni&t=.gif" />

    I’m adding the link via text tab in the product short description field. When I switch from tab Text to Visual, I see the image. When I update the product, then view, I see a broken image as described above.

    Thoughts?

  • The src currently points to an https on the actual page, not http as in your post. Maybe you changed it since posting. Anyway, this src redirects to an http image. This is classed as insure content so the browser blocks it.

    Can you copy the image onto your webserver and serve it from there?

    Excellent catch on http and https, thank you.

    It’s not quite as simple as serving the image from my server unfortunately. It’s an image that dynamically shows the number of projects that the community has created of this particular pattern. That’s why it has to come from their servers.

    If the image was sourced from https this would work though correct?
