cURL error 6: name lookup timed out

    I am getting the following message on the diagnostics page:
    wp_remote_post() test to noc1.wordfence.com failed! Response was: cURL error 6: name lookup timed out

    Related to this there is a message to run the connectivity test at the bottom of the options page. I seem to remember there was such a button, but can no longer find it. Does it exist?

    I bet you can see this message at (Wordfence > Diagnostics => Connectivity), correct?

    It seems that your hosting provider is blocking the connection to our servers, I suggest getting in contact with them regarding this issue with a link to this article.

    Hi wfalaa,
    Yes, you are correct it appears in Diagnostics. I did not choose the hosting for this site. It is poor and often has problems together with local Internet problems. I checked again today and it is now OK. Thanks.
