• Hi,

I have no use for the comment system built into WP (since I’m not using WP as a blog but for a “review site”). Here is what I want to achieve:

Each of my blog post would be about a particular restaurant.

I want to modify the comment section so that it is a mini-survey (how good the food was, etc.) and when people comment about that restaurant, they are technically filling in a survey.

But rather than allowing the public to view each comment/survey-response, I want to give only certain members (such as the restaurant owners) of the blog access to view the comments.

In other words, I want to give the privilege of viewing blog comments to specific members for specific blog posts.

Would this be easy to do in WP? Does anyone have any ideas? I’m not an expert programmer, so I just wanted to see if it is easily do-able.

    Thanks.

  • Probably, not easily doable.
Use the right tool for the right job – meaning find a survey/poll software.

Aw, okay. I was just wondering if it is easily doable. But if it’s not, I don’t want to even attempt it, haha. Thanks.
