WordPress URLS being blacklisted on Search Console

Anyone else seen this or have any suggestions?

We may if we were able to review the site itself. If not, we are just pondering ??

Is there a reason you cannot share the site address with us?

Sites are not usually blacklisted for the actual URL, but what they have fetched from it (over a period of time).

What tests did you run?

The site is blog.smei.org

It’s not my site so I am not sure which tests were run but GoDaddy checked it.

The site seems OK at Sucuri (not 100% perfect but a good way to check a site)

I am not seeing the site being blacklisted. It does matter what method was used by the site owner who has conferred to you this information. Was it an email? That’s a common scam to trick you to visit a bad site so they can steal your login information and take over your account.

Providing that information will help.

Also can you share what Google is noting about the bad URL’s – which ones are they?

And, you have Adsense running on the blog site – give them a shout about this.

Last, the root site //smei.org is an asp.net site which looks like it may have issues. See: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/smei.org

You need to tell Google Tools the sub-domain is not related to the main domain. Ask Google.

We’ve used Sucuri to scan as well as Chrome Developer tools.
