  • looking good.
all trying to be constructive here:

the orange header font on the photo is just not going to work, ever. I can’t read your blog title. This is prolly convertable through your CSS file but this is the wrong forum for that. 1) Make your blog title more readable.

get some space from your header to your sidebar and main content. This is likely a margin width, and has prolly been altered from the theme original.

reduce the space between, headline, dateline and content start.

give some room (padding) around your photos to prevent the text from edging them.

tackle those four things, and you’re going to be in strong shape to move ahead.

oh and bytheway.. your content’s nice. very niche. future plans should include map navigation (click to find my adventures there). good luck.

I’ve paddled a lot of those same rivers in a canoe. Have you tried the Potomac just below Great Falls?

    Crazytaxi,

Thanks for the great suggestions. I am not sure what to do about the blog title. I think I will have to work on the banner image and certainly the font color. The suggestion about the padding and space between the banner and content are great. It is amazing how much you miss looking at your own site.

    Chrisber,
I have not made it up to the Potomac yet, but it is on my short list to paddle soon. I am strictly canoe as well, but I am looking to convert a K1 to C1 soon.
