Some Photos Upload & Appear, Others Do Not!

  • I tested out this plugin with a bunch of photos I found on the internet. All of them uploaded correctly.

    – I set the maximum image dimensions for .jpg, .gif, and .png formats to 2000 x 2000 initially
    – I did not set the maximum file size, I used the default php.ini file size, which is 2 MB.

    From fiddling around with dimensions and file sizes I have gotten some images to upload, but others fail and I cannot figure out what the issue is.

    I have upgraded to version 4.16

    Can you assist me? What other information can I provide to you?

    Also, even if the photos do not appear in the gallery or the approval screen, I do see them in the “contest-gallery” sub-folder in the uploads directory.

    does failing uploads have messae like this?
    Allowed memory size of …. bytes exhausted …..
    If yes, then provided power (CPU, RAM) from server for your instance is to low, you have to try same foto with lower resolution.
    <<< if this not the problem. Then send me plz the photo which you can’t upload and the site link for uploads to [email protected]. I will check then.
