Backin Up After Hack

I use backwpup. I set it to backup to Dropbox, so the backups are not on the server that also has the website.

Thanks. I don’t use Dropbox. I never got into it so am clueless how to use it or send things to it

Set up a free dropbox at dropbox.com. Then install BackWPUp. When you set up a backup job, tell it to link to your dropbox and it will do the rest.

Being clueless is no excuse. ?? That’s why we have google.

I decided to use it but not with Dropbox. I got a free year at Amazon AWS. Backups will go to the Cloud so I’ll be protected in case of hack.

I decided to try Dropbox. Amazon sounded good but I have some reservations. Now I just have to remember which backup works with Dropbox. I was on my laptop today but forgot to grab some plugins. Tonight I’ll get them through WordPress.

To me, Dropbox is for iPad. Does it work on Windows, too?
