How to deactivate popup temporarily

  • Hello I have a site that I did not create and it has a Subscribe popup as well as a sidebar subscribe banner. I see the code in view source and I see mailchimp settings in WP dash but I cannot figure out how to temporarily deactivate the popup. There is no option in plugin setup window. Can you help?

    Thanks for reaching out! The MailChimp List Subscribe form is not a pop up form, which indicates that the form being used on your page is a different plugin. While we can help out with the plugin developed by us, we won’t be much help with other plugins. That being said, if you wind up using the MailChimp List Subscribe form specifically and have any questions about that we’ll be happy to help out.

    Hello, I think it may be a modified form because in the code it seems to use mc in all the lines. Can i perhaps email you the code for the page just to see what it is? I am new to wordpress but i assume if it sends users to a mailchimp mailing list it may be some modification of the original. There is also I think a mailchimp widget.
