• Hi,

I sell digital products and I have a custom script that always shows the download links in “My Account > Downloads” even if they are expired. The problem is that even having this, some customers can’t see their purchases there. I’ve seen that’s because the download permissions of their orders have been deleted.
This happens randomly, and I haven’t seen any reason why this happens to some orders and not on others.

I thought the download permissions had to be deleted on purpose in order to prevent someone to keep downloading the files. Is there something I’m missing?

    Thanks,
    Jesús

Download permissions can also be removed when a subscription / membership expires or when issuing a refund. Have you checked order notes to make sure it’s not a case of the payment gateway cancelling an order and thereby revoking download permissions (check the order notes for that).

It’s not the case of a refunded or cancelled order.
I don’t see any reasons why this happens.

I haven’t tested it but I think it’s the “Woocommerce CSV Export” plugin. When I export the orders it usually (not always) deletes the download permissions. Am I crazy?

Confirmed, it’s not he Woocommerce CSV Export plugin. I don’t have any clue of why this is happening.
