Can’t access my website or dashboard

  • For some reason I am having difficulty opening my website or getting to the dashboard to troubleshoot. I keep getting this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”DB_NAME\’, \’michaels_wrdp3\” (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /home1/michaelscote/public_html/wp-config.php on line 23

    How do I get access to the dash board?

  • It is probably a typo you made when you edited the configuration file of WordPress.

    You need to check your wp-donfig.php file. Check the line where you have mentioned your Database name. Or else paste the code of your wp-config.php file so that I can check where exactly the problem is.
