    Hi,

Hope you can help me. I’ve removed Virtue theme from my WordPress installation (via Appearance > Themes) and installed another one, and now when I click on Appearance > Customize I get this error “The theme directory “virtue” does not exist.”

Can someone help me with this? Has it not uninstalled correctly? Effectively Customizer is not working for my new theme. How do I fix this, please?

    Hey,
Did you deactivate the theme and activate another before removing it?

Have you cleared your cache? Also ensure you have deactivate the virtue/pinnacle toolkit plugin.

    Yeah, I did all that.
I decided to install Virtue again and here’s what happens now.

When I activate any other theme, say “Theme A” and go to preview site it’s fine, “Theme A” is used there. When I go now to customizer it defaults back to Virtue and I’m customizing Virtue’s options nad previewing Virtue.

What could be the issue here?

Ok, not sure what was wrong but the issue doesn’t appear anymore. Sorry to take your time!
