Jigoshop 2.0.6 Variable Product Images

    Hello,

    so I’m having some trouble with Variable Product images in Jigoshop 2.0.6. It appears that you are supposed to setup your attributes and values, add those to a variable product, and then add the images to each variable under the variations tab. I’ve done this, however when selecting different variations, the product image remains the same.

    In fact as far as I can tell there is no reference to these “variable images” at all on the front-end of the site. If a reference could be added as a data value to the select items it would be a simple matter to set a new image in the main image block.

    Does anyone know how these are supposed to work? Unfortunately there is no documentation regarding this for jigoshop 2.0, and I’m rather stuck with it. I have a licence for product variation images running on the old jigoshop, where this functionality does work, however I’m unsure as to how one gets this running in jigoshop 2.0.

    One other thing with Jigoshop 2.0, it appears you cannot remove all images from the “product gallery” once images have been added. Removing the last image and updating results in the image remaining.

    Hi Guys,

    just updated to the latest version and it seems multiple images for product variation are still not available. Any idea when this will be updated?

    We’ve run into some issues while implementing the image gallery for variable products – we need to restructure the variable product as a whole – it will be out in 2.1 – which is the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
