Re-installation of WordPress

    I have installed WP for the first time under sub-directory and I now I wanted to reinstalled it under root directory but it didn’t let me. I have deleted the old database in MySQL and created a new one to update into the wp-config.php. I have also got a new set of secret keys for this. Please help!

  • What do you mean it didn’t let you? Install it the same way you did for the sub directory only in the root directory of your site.

    The problem is resolved. I log in to my website and it is working now. I guess it needs time to clear the database and update with the new one. Thanks!!
