Shipping address not displayed on Paypal Express Review Order page

We actually do have a couple of other recent reports of this, but we have not released an update to our plugin in the time these reports started happening.

Have you recently updated WordPress or WooCommerce?

I am not sure exactly when this started happening, but I think probably in September when I updated to Woocommerce 2.6.4 (shipping zones) from a pre 2.6 version, along with paypal for woocommerce 1.2.4.
(I wrongly put paypal for woocommerce 1.2.1 in the above note on testing in staging).

We’re looking into it and will get any adjustments that are necessary made as quickly as we can.

You may want to try temporarily disabling caching / CDN services to see if that will resolve the issue. If so, then we can figure out how to get the necessary files filtered out of your caching system.

Thank you for investigating. I don’t think it is a caching/CDN issue as I have tested on my staging site with no CDN and the caching plugin disabled.

I think we’ve gotten to the bottom of this. It seems that WooCommerce 2.6 changed the names of the functions used to pull address data out, so we had to make the same adjustment to our plugin code.

We have done this in our release branch on GitHub, and it will be included in the 1.3.0 update that we’re working hard on now.

If you want to grab the update early to resolve this particular issue you can download it here, and then you’ll need to update manually.

Thank you for fixing this quickly. I have just tested the new code, and the shipping address is now displayed correctly on the review order. However I have the option to ‘set billing address in WooCommerce using the address returned by PayPal’ on. The billing address heading is displayed on the review order page, and the billing name is displayed, but the billing address is blank.

I also have the same issue. I installed the patch on my test server.

The updated patch is better. I still notice the the shipping method changes when selecting separate shipping address. When I finalize the order in Woocommerce the actual order has the same address for shipping and billing.

I have retested and confirm that the shipping and billing address are now displayed on the review order page.
I did change the delivery address in paypal, and the billing and shipping address were both correctly set to this new address (I know that paypal only passes the shipping address back to Woocommerce, so have the option to set the billing address to shipping address ticked.)
