  • Is the MissingKeyMapError the only error message being reported in the Dev Console?

Yep, I get the same thing. Verified that all Google API’s were enabled, and that the key was valid (tested against other mapping software and it works just fine). The map I created flashes there for a second before the “Oops, something went wrong” appears. JavaScript dev console shows 1 error and 1 warning about “missing API key”, even though it’s there, and is valid.

    Hi Divya
Please confirm that you have in fact inserted the API key into the Maps->Settings->Advanced tab under the API text input. If you have and it’s still giving this error then there may be another call to the Google Maps API being loaded on that page either from another plugin or your theme. Can you please confirm if your theme or another plugin may be loading this by temporarily switching to the default Twenty Sixteen theme and/or deactivating all your plugins except for WP Google Maps?

I have the same problem filled in the api key and validated the url, I already tried to disable al the plugins and use the default theme with no success.

@jeroenwouters – Are you still having problems on your end? I can your map and it appears to function fine. There are no errors in the Developer’s Console. Thanks in advance.
