disable New Version Available in theme dashboard

  • I’ve heavily customized the blankslate theme and I want to remove the ‘New version available: upgrade now’ link. Not sure why it pops up any more, I’ve changed the theme name etc.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  • Could your new name have inadvertently copied the name of an existing theme in the Theme Repo? Try changing the theme’s name (and folder) to something as unique as possible – e.g. ssccdd-theme
