Does this work fine with Google Analytics ? I am looking for a plugin or something to block all the spam sites from spoiling my Google Analytics records, I am wondering does this fit into my expectation, also I want to block all spam sites from entering my site too. If it does what I want without consuming a lot of system resources, I will buy the pro version right away.

    Thanks.

Yep works great with Google Analytics. And while nothing can block all spam and other nonsense, BBQ does an excellent job of keeping bad requests away from your site. As in blocked. Stopped cold. So they never even register with Google Analytics. The free version blocks a lot of bad stuff, and the Pro version blocks a LOT more. Plus Pro is easily customizable, shows basic stats, and much more. Let me know if any specific questions about either plugin, glad to help.

    Thanks for the reply.
I will give the free version a try, and see how it goes for few days before purchasing the pro one. ?? that trump referrer spam is a big headache for me nowadays. I hope this plugin will help me with that too.

That’s one of the differences between what BBQ free and BBQ Pro can do.. the free version protects against a fixed set of known bad request types, while free protects all those and more, and then also makes it easy to add your own terms that you want to block. So if you want to block “trump” referrer spam, you can simply add that term in the custom referrer patterns and done.

Just bought. wondering why it still says “Pending”. Is this the support forum for Pro users?
