Well, I can go through the motions of uploading them, but what I get is question mark.

I am sure I did something to cause it. I have been trying some new themes and it happened after that. Maybe the connection to the DB goy screwd up. I don’t know,

    I really can use help.

    Thanks,

Ok. I think I know what is happening, but do not know how to fix it.

I had my blog in a subdirectory and recently moved to the root directory. Everything was working fine. But now when I load any image it does not go to the image folder under the them but to a folder that it creates called “blog” which is where my blog use to reside.

How do I change where it stores the images?

I did the same thing (move from subdirectory to root) and had the same problem.

    TO FIX:

    1. Go to Settings -> Miscellaneous
    2. Change the text in the box “Store uploads in this folder”
    3. Most likely it should be the default “wp-content/uploads”

Have you followed Codex recommendations re Moving WordPress?
Reminders after moving or upgrading –
    – run Settings > Permalinks
    – run Settings > Miscellaneous (image upload directory)

    Thanks guys. That did it!

Funny I went over every page of settings looking for a clue and never saw that!

    Thanks for all your help.
