    id a page is restricted, can I show a part of that page , with read more… linking to a registration form or other redirect?

    Ok, so say I want to restrict a page to a specific role. But I want other roles (or non members) to be able to see the first part of the page as a teaser to get them interested in upgrading their role. Or registering.

    That wouldn’t work. Either you allow visitors to view content whole or in part, or you don’t allow them viewing at all. There are better plugin support boards for this. UM is not a content restriction plugin, so your posts are considered largely off topic.

    Sorry, my mistake. I had thought content restriction was a feature. There were some review sites which mentioned that one of the main features was content restriction per user role basis.

    What you want is not on UM.
