    Hi, I am no longer able to apply an image as a watermark to my photos. I can use a text watermark, but not an image. The text shows up on the preview image fine, but my PNG watermark does not. I have tried linking to images both on the site, and stored elsewhere, but after entering the path, clicking save, and ‘Refresh preview image,’ it does not show up. I have used PNGs and JPEGs of different dimensions, and file sizes, though neither works.

    I’m using the most current version of NextGEN that is available.

    Please advise.

    @jchaikin – Your description implies you were able to watermark images with another image previously, do you recall what has changed on your site since this option last worked as expected?

    @cais Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I don’t know what has changed. I haven’t done any sort of recoding, and the only changes that would’ve been made are updates to WordPress, and the plugin.

    Initially I thought that it might’ve been a permissions issue, but the issue persists whether I use an image hosted on my domain, or externally. I am able to get to the PNG in both cases.

    @jchaikin – Can you share a link to a display that has images you have tried to watermark? There may be something in the page source that might offer some ideas we can suggest for more troubleshooting.

    @cais Sorry, no. The issue is still not resolved. Here is one of the affected galleries:

    The other part of the issue is that in the watermark settings panel, I am unable to see an image watermark when using the test image. I can see a text watermark applied, but not when a photo is used. I’ve tried different watermark images as well.

    @jchaikin – I see a JavaScript related error in the browser console on that page. I do not believe it is related but you might need to look into it first just in case.
