Photo upload problem

Greetings, really need some help here! site is https://www.notdunroamin.com, hosted by Bluehost, using twentyfourteen theme.
I have recurring problems uploading photos. Sometimes just a fail. Lately error message “unable to connect to this site”.
I have had several online chats with Bluehost. Today they told me they’ve done all they can, ask a developer or WordPress! So WP please can you help?
This is what I’ve tried:
deactivated all plugins (plug in conflict was a problem before, but I have NOT reactivated that plugin!)
cleared cache
tried using Chrome and IE
I haven’t made any changes to my theme, I’m not very techy! I just used a few plugins, now disabled.
Now I’m getting HTTP errors, and photos not uploaded (I’ve checked the size, not too big)
Previously after several HTTP errors, I would get the unable to connect error message.
Would really appreciate some assistance please!
