WP support multiple databases?

  • Hi, guys
    I am a new user of WP. If this question was answered in the previous discussion please let me know.
    I have finished installing WP to my webhost, and i am planning to build a gallary which can work with my present WP system. Photolog seems a nice choice for me. So here comes the questions:
    1. Does WP support multiple databases? I wish to separate the photo data from WP data. HOw?
    2. Do I need to install two WP systems to the respective folders in order to do so? Or one WP system is enough?
