Finding Page Positions

  • Hi all,

    Can you help please…

    Just installed the Parralax Theme, great looking Theme by the way!

    Anyway, obviously, I’d like to change it around, adding images, widgets etc. I’m using Firefox and when I hit the developer tools (very much like Firebug), I’m really struggling to see where I can edit certain parts of the theme.

    For example, I’d like to change the first images you get from the theme just images that appear in sequence.

    I can see the in the dev tools windows it states ‘main-slider’. But I can’t find where this might be.

    Can anyone help me out with this one?

    I have the same question- how can I remove sections from the main page?
    If I have to create a new page first, how should it be named, since I want to remove sections from the main page (under the slider) and change images and texts on it.

    Also, when transferring from another theme, some of my posts appear with the following text beneath:
    Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: 12: REST API is deprecated for versions v2.1 and higher (12) thrown in /home/yagadome/public_html/wp-content/plugins/seo-facebook-comments/facebook/base_facebook.php on line 1273

    We are a bit unclear with the issue. Here are some answers related to your questions:

    – If you wish to remove the section from the main page then go to appearance > theme options > parallax section.
    – From here, you can add or delete the section as required.

    – You can directly create a new page.

    – If you want to make a changes in the section then you just need to go appearance > theme options > parallax section. from here you can select which section you need to change or edit.

    – It seems that the issue is related with the plugin. Might be you are using shortcode in the post. May be the version of this plugin is not supported anymore.

    It looks like you are facing some difficulties configuring the theme settings.
