• Hi,

My blog at https://www.firecrackerpr.com/wordpress is getting way too long.

I don’t want visitors to have to scroll down to find articles of interest.

Is there any way to have just the clickable titles on the right so people can click on the title of interest and be zipped down to the corresponding article?

    Thanks,

    Ed

  • You can use the Recent Posts widget in your sidebar (design/widgets) to show the titles of recent posts. If you want to shorten the articles on your home page you should either use the ‘more’ tag or use ‘the_excerpt’ instead of ‘the_content’ in your template if you want to provide excerpts for each of your articles. Using the ‘more’ tag is probably the easiest. You can find more info in docs if you’re not sure what I’m referring to.

Excuse my noobness, but where do I find “docs” as you referred to?

    Thanks!

Try the Docs tab in the header of this page!
