Category page redirects to homepage

    Hi, I have set up a category page and added to my menu. When I click the menu item, instead of taking me to the product category it goes to my homepage, really hope someone can help. thank you.

  • Ensure you have reset permalinks. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks, and click “Save Changes” twice.

    If that’s not the fix, please post the url to your site.

    Also make sure it’s product category and not a blog post category ??

    Resetting the permalinks did not work for me – it seems that anytime I make a change to the product description, the link between the category page and the product is broken and it redirects to the homepage. Here is the category page that is doing it, click on Titan 50 https://autocrane.us/truck-bodies/

    Can anyone shed some light on this one?

    I’m confused (easily done!), is this one issue with two posters or two issues with a poster each.

    Either way, I think the next thing would be to deactivate all other plugins and check, to be able to rule out a plugin conflict.

    If the problem persists with other plugins deactivated, switch to the default theme and test. What happens?

    I believe it’s the same issue, two different posters.

    Hello all, I got the solution of the problem. Its very easy. Just go to woocommerce Product category and edit all categories and blank slug option of all categories. Thats it.
    Now it will work fine ?? (Y)
