    Good Afternoon,

We have been using this plugin for a while now on an https website.

Just noticed from today, when browsing our website in Google Chrome we have started to get
    mixed content warnings.

After investigating this, we have found that this plugin seems to request the following url over http:

    https://tags.bluekai.com

At present the only way to stop the “mixed content” warning was to deactivate this plugin.

Would anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this, as this seems to have only happened from today.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out and reporting on this issue.
I’ve alerted my engineering team and they have gone ahead and made a fix.
You should no longer be seeing this error.
Additionally, if the page is HTTPS the call will be forced as https as well.

Hope this helps to clarify, if you can confirm on your end if you’re not seeing this anymore that would be great!

    Hi Brandon,

Thank you for your help on this.

I have re-activated the plugin again, cleared the cache etc, and unfortunately I’m still getting http pages being requested via this plugin.

I’ve also noticed this plugin loads a lot of cookies, and does seem to affect website page load time more than it use too.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew

Andrew – this plugin has been purchased by ShareThis and their new terms of service allows them to load a pile of tracking cookies and garbage into your site.

I have no problem with people monetizing a product, but sneakily loading crap like this onto users is unacceptable.
