block disappeared

    I moved a block and disappeared in Custom new style Settings page. I tryed to uninstall but nothing. how do I restore the page?

    Dear Lehel,
    please find attached tho screenshots.

    In yellow you can see the box I’m trying to move.
    If wrongly drag and drop it outside the page, it disappears and I’m unable to find it back.
    Where can I find it?
    In red the other boxes with the same behavior. Are this boxes lost forever once dragged and dropped away? Is there a way to restore them?
    I was able to restore the boxes resetting the database settings, in particular the table wp_usermeta. Is this the only way to do what I’m asking?
    Could you please advise?

    Hey MarcoBeach,

    We have tried to move around the boxes you mentioned, but could not get them to disappear.

    The worst case scenario was, when we moved them to the bottom of the page and had to reposition it back to the top of the page.

    If your box really disappears and can’t find in on your settings page, please open up the screen option menu and try to activate it back from the menu there.

    I tried to activate it back from the menu, but nothing.
    I found the field meta-box-order_cf7_style on the database that changes when the box disappears. If I delete the value of field manually on the database the problem is resolved. Can you add a button “Restore display setting” that does it?

    We will take your suggestion into consideration.

    The best solution would be to remove the drag and drop functionality of the meta boxes.

    In our next update, this behavior will be present.

    Today, on 6th of March 2017, we have launched the 3.1.2 version of our add-on.

    This update contains the elimination of the drag and drop functionality for the contact form 7 style metaboxes on the custom styling dashboard page.

    Can you give us a feedback about this one?
