What appears written inside the send box on the website

I use the ajax search plugin on my web site. In General settings> Search input label I put there “Procure gravatas”. In General settings> Search submit label I put there “Procure por nome, cor, código…”. But what appears written on the page inside the search box is just “Search …”. Please advise me to correct it so that it appears written inside the search box “Procure por nome, cor, código…” inside the search box on the page. thank you
