Composium-Visual Composer Extensions Addon won’t update

    I have this plugin on a site (one I’ve taken over) and it’s saying there’s an update but it won’t update. I keep getting a message !Update Failed: Plugin update failed.

    Latest version of WP and when I check the details of the plugin it’s supposed to be compatible with this version.

    You have version 5.0.4 installed. Update to 5.0.8. While on the dashboard it says may not be compatible with latest version of WP it does state on their details page:

    Version: 5.0.8
    Author: Tekanewa Scripts
    Last Updated: 2 weeks ago
    Requires WordPress Version: 3.9.0 or higher
    Compatible up to: 4.6.1

    Is it likely that it’s incompatible and this is why it won’t update? in which case I wonder how long it will be, before the plugin stops working on the site. Something my client might be concerned about.

    Since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://helpdesk.krautcoding.com/forums/forum/wordpress-plugins/visual-composer-extensions/

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
