I restored an updraft backup yesterday and was immediately locked out of my site’s admin. I get the msg: ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password? The lost your password link isn’t working for me either. I spent a few hours searching for a solution yesterday and am still stuck. Does anyone know of a solution?

I also have a new problem that sprung up yesterday as well. There is a warning at the top of my site: Warning: mysqli_num_fields() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in….

I read that this warning is related to the W3 Total Cache plugin, which I installed yesterday. I went into my file manager and deleted the W3 files but the warning is still there. Any solutions for this?

    Thank you

    Hi tinibop
I also have the same problem. My admin was locked after w3 totalcache install and activate. I followed advice on deleting the w3 files manually and deactivating the plugins via the database. I also tried to default to the default theme by renaming my theme but no luck. The browser eventually returns a timeout error. It was up and running before this happened. I think some file has become corrupted —anyone out there who can help us
