Regarding the event slection!

I have used the wp full calendar for events and when i add the event for the upcoming consecutive days then it shows the golden strip over that particular days which depicts the whole information when someone hover the mouse on it but my problem is when someone click on the golden strip, e.g if the event start from 1 nov 2016 and ends on 10 nov, it shows the golden strip over these nine days and i click on golden strip shows on the 7 nov in the calendar and it highlight the 1 nov with yellow color filled in background that means, it does not select the particular day of that event, it only select the first day of the paritcular row so please tell me any type of solution regarding this problem.
