Its refreshing being able start each new website from bare bones up. If you have CSS and PHP experience, give it a go. Once you get the hang of it, you will find, like I did, that starting from scratch often takes less time getting the website to want as opposed to tweaking an existing theme. If your websites tend to vary greatly, this is the best starting point out there in my opinion.
