Browsers loose primary menu and formating

    I am new but learning. I am using the ‘virtue’ theme and building my wife a website. sharonmauldin.com.
    Working with simple new pages,plugins like mailchimp and boxzilla. Suddenly my primary menu disappears and formating on some pages fail.
    I am using Firefox so I clear the cache etc. Nothing helps. Start Internet Explorer and enerything is good for another 30 minutes then the side thing happens.

    I open another browser and everything looks good again.

    Does anyone have an idea what is happening and how to correct it. The domain sharonmauldin is simply redirected. I found that if I used it,s permalink on Firefox everything was fine for a while…now it is buggered.
    Help.

    Well, something is definitely wrong with your Permalinks. Every page has the same home page address. What are you using for the permalink? I would try using Day and name first (the date won’t show up on the address for a page, just a post).

    I looked at the site under both Firefox and Chrome and it looks OK. The only time the main menu disappeared was when the browser window was less than 991px, which is how a responsive theme is supposed to work, but I didn’t see any sort of mobile menu button.

    You actually have to choose a menu to use as your mobile menu (which is very strange, most themes that I’ve used automatically use the same menu as what’s used for the Main Menu). So go to Appearance → Menus and click the Manage Locations tab, then select a menu to use for Mobile Navigation (probably the same menu you are using for Primary Navigation). Then see if the mobile menu shows up when the page looks “wacky.”

    Thanks for the response. My true domain name is https://www.stardancertantra.com.and has a conventional HTML site associated. https://www.sharonmauldin.com is a domain name I have directed at a directory (/wp) on the stardancertantra domain. The fact that you see sharonmauldin.com for the whole tree under that directory is a facade.
    My problem is that browsers are loosing my formating after I work through them for 30 minutes or an hour.
    This is a recent development. Even the formating for the WordPress admin logon disappeared. No more the pretty little box in mid page. And the wp website (sharonmauldin.com) has the primary menu missing as well as all column formating.
    This situation is Only on my computer. I have lost the formatting on firefox and internet explorer. The windows 10 browser is still OK but I am afraid to work any longer and loose it also. Cleaning the cache etc. Has no effect. Any ideas?
