    Hi,

Using the Updraft plugin and trying to connect it to my Dropbox account fails no matter what I do.
I’ve deleted and reinstalled the plugin
    Wiped the settings
Logged in and out of my Dropbox account (I have plenty of space)

This is the message I keep on getting: “No Dropbox Code found, will try to get one now – need to reauthenticate this site with Dropbox (if this fails, then you can also try wiping your settings from the Expert Settings section)”

    Any suggestions?

    Hi,

When attempting to authenticate with Dropbox, you should be taken to a page on auth.updraftplus.com.
On that page, do you see any failure or error messages?

    Getting the same error

An error (invalid_grant) occurred in trying to connect with Dropbox.

Error details: code has already been used

Press the button below to return to your UpdraftPlus settings on the site ://.

The button will take you to: http&error=invalid_grant&error_description=code+has+already+been+used

@chrissmit: Please can you retry now? Dropbox have been having some problems at their end, but users seem to be getting through now.

    @david,

    Thanks for your reply.
Indeed the authentication (partly) worked, but not the necessary 100%.
These are the messages I see in the backend:
“Success: you have authenticated your Dropbox account (though part of the returned information was not as expected – your mileage may vary)
    Dropbox error: invalid_request (400)”

    and:
    “Sat, November 12, 2016 12:38 – next resumption: 2 (after 97s) – show log – stop
Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of errors”

There’s also a log file, but can’t seem to attach it here.

I will try and re-do the whole installation process a bit later.

    Kind regards,
    Chris

I am receiving the same error and results. I am now getting messages that the backup finished, apparently unsuccessfully.

    Hi @chrissmit and @brelandr,

Please could you send us a copy of the logs? You can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the links here.

    Hi,

In the end it seemed to work.
I would have sent you the log files, however, I’m moving my domain to another host but am having a bit of trouble with that.

If you want, when it’s up and running I can still try to retrieve those log files.

    Kind regards,
    Chris
