Apostrophe in “Email body” template causes it to be truncated

  • In AccessPress Social Share Version 4.2.2, under Miscellaneous > Email body, if I enter text with an apostrophe (single quote), the email body is truncated at the apostrophe.

    For example:

    Hi,

    I thought you’d be interested in this from the Lucid Advice website: “%%title%%”.

    Here is the website link: %%permalink%%.

    Thanks!

    comes out in the email as:

    Hi, I thought you

    The work around is to not use the apostrophe.

    Hi there.

    We did check in the plugin’s Miscellaneous email setting.
    But we did not find any issue as you are referring to.

    Thanks, Shane. Perhaps there’s a conflict with one of my plugins or the Avada 5 theme. If I find the culprit, I’ll let you know.
