release date differs

Hello,

I installed recently version 1.08 of Tao Schedule Plugin and on first testing it seemed to work fine. But than I noticed that the release date on the pages view after I created a scheduled update page:

differs from the release date which is set on the scheduled update page in edit mode:

The error occurs only when the year of the release date differs from the actual year.
Is it possible that the update which is scheduled for 2017/01/01 and which is shown as scheduled for 2016/01/01 will not be executed because the second date is in the past?
