  • @paulhogan,

    Have a look at our currency options where you should be able to customize this to the correct format.

    LifterLMS -> Settings -> Checkout then find the “Currency Options” box. I beleive this has all the settings needed to configure price displays.

    If we’re missing something or your particular format isn’t possible please let me know.

    Take care,

    Hi There,

    thanks for your answer. I set the currency to “Euro (€)”. But unfortunately it is not possible to insert a price with two decimal places neither for courses or memberships. I can write 90 EUR but not 90,95 EUR. At the moment we have the Lifter Version 2.7.12 installed because we use the theme “Michigan” (https://themeforest.net/item/michigan-learning-suite-allinone-education-wordpress-theme/14558952). It is not ready for the Versin 3.x of Lifter at the moment.

    I hope you have a soulution for me.

    Kind regards

    @paulhogan,

    In that case I’m really sorry but this was one of the many things we made possible in LifterLMS 3.0, here’s a screenshot of the currency options.

    We added these in 3.0 and I don’t have a solution for these same settings in 2.x.

    Oh what a mess. Thanks for your answer and for the good news, that you made it possible in your new version. Now it is up to me to motivate the guys from Webnus to hurry up ??

    Thumbs up for Lifter !!!

    Kind regards,

    One little question: If I sell a couere via a membership I saw a sentence “(Membership Level) membership level allows access to this content.” over the course picture. This sentence is perfectly translatet into German via the lifterlms-de_DE.po file. But unfortunately it is not displayed in German. Any idea what is wrong?

    Kind regards,
    Michael

    @paulhogan,

    I’m not sure why this isn’t translating… can you send me a link to the page where you’re seeing this and attach a copy of the .po file you’re using.

    Thanks,

    @thomasplevy,

    here you can see the language mix: https://kiport-lms.de/course/gitarrenkurs-gert-gerti/

    How can I upload a file in this forum? Or is it possible to send you a private mail?

    Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards,
    Michael

    @paulhogan,

    You’ll have to upload to drive or dropbox of the like and share a public link.

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

    Hope you find the bug. Thanks

    @paulhogan,

    Looks like the base .pot file is not up to date with the actual code. We may have missed a build step somewhere when we updated the code, I’m not sure exactly.

    Since you’re working off an old codebase I can’t serve an update to fix it because it would require you to update the whole of LifterLMS.

    I think, but I am not positive, you can update your .po file to include the following, which will match the updated string:

    msgid "membership level allows access to this content."

    The actual string in version 2.7.12 excludes the HTML from the string

    Hope that helps,

    Hi there,
    I’m not sure if I understand you correctly. Do I have to include the string (msgid “membership level allows access to this content.”) in the lifterlms-de_DE.po file as German translation? I try this and received a error message. My Problem is, that I can’t update to the latest Lifter LMS version. I have to wait first for an update of the Webnus Theme. Is it possible to hide the complete sentence until then?

    Kind regards

    @paulhogan,

    I understand you can’t update. I can’t retroactively fix the old codebase though.

    I am sorry but I am not actually a translator so if my proposed solution doesn’t work I’m not sure I have an actual solution for you.

    I can’t provide you with a way to hide one specific error message as that’s not something that we ever had any way to do.

    Perhaps your theme devs can help you resolve the issue? I don’t like to pass the buck but I can’t really fix this one…
