• Ok, so I’m a bit older and missed the blogging revolution and don’t have much experience with xhtml and php, but a fairly good understanding of older html and the basic structure of php. I’m still not sure I entirely understand how wp works, so be kind if this is an idiotic question. Looks just like a bunch of nested templates as far as I can see. So here’s the question:

I’m doing a travel blog, and want a page hierarchy like this:

    -Country
    –state
    —city
    —-date
    —-date
    —-date
    —-date
    —city
    —-date
    —-date
    -country
    –state
    —city
    —-date
    —-etc,etc

How do I change the page template so it calls a list of only the pages found under the current page? So for example, if viewing the state page, you’d see some content, pictures, etc., then a list of city pages underneath. Or if viewing a city page, you’d see some content, then a list of dated entries.

I’d also like to limit the sidebar navigation so the whole structure isn’t visible from the top. Is there a way to specify the depth of the list?
