Image URL generation problems (https)

Hi all,

Since switching from https:// to https:// we have noticed that image URLs are still being generated by WordPress after uploading a photo with https:// which is obviously causing some redirect issues.

I’m pretty sure I’ve found the problem in the WordPress general settings. Someone didn’t change over the URL to https:// following certification. My issue is that I’m worried in switching that, that all of a sudden the previous images will break on the site (we have a large news site with lots of images) as the URLs no longer work.

What’s the best solution for this problem?
