    Hi Shopify,

    We get this error message on inspect element:
    “A Parser-blocking, cross-origin script, https://widgets.shopifyapps.com/assets/widgets/embed/client.js, is invoked via document.write. This may be blocked by the browser if the device has poor network connectivity.(anonymous function) @ (index):1009”

    The plugin author needs to update the code.

    Are you the right person to ask this request and can it be done quickly?

    As far as the error message goes, it shouldn’t affect functionality. So, it can be ignored, but this is also going to be addressed in the next update which is in our timeline.

    Any news on this update? I am having the same issue.
    Shop page is crippled by customers not being able to see items. Help!

    Hi Leo,

    Could you provide some more information about what kind of browser and what version you’re using that shows this problem.

    We’ve tried loading your site (which you posted in the other post) on our end in different browsers and the product embeds seem to be loading properly.

    I am on a mac, using Chrome Version 54.0.2840.98 (64-bit) –
    I tested in Firefox and it seems to work.
    On first load on Chrome it does not work, but once you reload it does work.
    On first load I get the error

    Hey Leo,

    We’ve tried many different scenarios and we’re unable replicate the the issue. Fortunately, the issue will be addressed in the next update for the wordpress plugin.

    However, you should be able to use the new Buy Button Builder from within Shopify. This should generate an embed using the new embed codes, which does not cause this issue.
