How do I change the url for the event archives?

I changed the url for the single event’s parent to be “mydomain.com/events” instead of “mydomain.com/calendar”. But now, the event pages and the archive page are conflicting and I can’t figure out how to change the archive page’s url to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@bsokic, that is actually the solution I tried using. It worked perfectly to change the archive page from “/event” to “/archive”. But now all my active events are listed under “/archive”.

How do I change it so my active events will be listed under “/events” and my past events will be listed under “/archive”? Was there there a particular reason why all active events are listed under “/event” in the first place, considering “/event” is the archive of all past events?

I’ve looked for a solution everywhere and I can’t find one.

@baohdas, after you save the code to your functions.php, go into Settings > Permalinks and re-save your options. That got rid of the error for me.

@vlmanha, Without checking your site, code, etc., it is difficult to know the solution, but you have changed the URL and this caused the issue, unfortunately we can not help you with that. The main purpose of this forum is for us to catch and address product bugs, but hopefully other users can help you. We’ll keep this topic open for a few days for other user to chime in if possible. Thanks for your understanding.
