It fetches all but the last file and never completes. All diagnostic items are green. I had this working on same site and setup before the update, but after this new version it’s no longer working.

any help on this? it’s still hanging on the last few files.. i switched it over to non-zip and saving locally on the server but it still doesn’t complete.

    Hi antilimit,

From that error message it looks like you’re running out of memory allocated for PHP when trying to generate the ZIP. It looks like there are nearly 4000 files, so I could see how that could happen.

When you try the non-zip method, do you get any error message when it fails to complete?

I switched it over to the non-zip method and it no longer gives that error, but it still hangs. I also deleted all the temp folders/files in: /simply-static/static-files and re-tried but still no dice.

Most of those file are all extra image sizes so i’m looking at how to remove them safely.. but do you know why it would be just spinning without any feedback once it gets to the end of the file generation?

I believe it’s the same problem as this guy:

thanks for your help AND support for this awesome plugin as well!

    Hi antilimit,

Thanks for your help in troubleshooting this. Would you be able to share the URL to your WordPress installation? If you prefer, you can email me at: [email protected]

    Hey guys,

I just had the same issue.
In my case, the plugin automatically generated one URL xxx/wp-includes/js/wp-emoji-release.min.js and if you change the baseUrl of wordpress, this URL is not longer valid and the export gets stuck on the last file.

Adjusting the BaseUrl in this path fixed the issue for me.

    Cheers

@d4rkegend I think that was my issue, too. At least that emoji line came up as a error and then it just would not complete. I couldn’t cancel and start again – it only went to Resume even when I disabled and re-enabled the plugin. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work.

“Adjusting the BaseUrl in this path fixed the issue for me.” I’m at sea with that one – how exactly is that step done, please?

Well in the Settings–> Advanced is a textfield having this link.
You can directly modify it there.

    Just have a look:
    Settings

    Hope that helps.
    Thanks
