Hello, I am testing out your plugin on a test blog and having some issues.

Dim Background – This will add an overlay over your image dimming it.

When I put a checkmark on my background is dark grey and the background image I uploaded in the same section never shows up. I can briefly see it for a second if I do a hard refresh of the page.

When uploading a background image, can it automatically be scaled to fill the whole background as in crop it to fit the page. You know when we upload an image to theme customizer and we crop it to fit the max. size’s the theme allows for a logo image as an example.

I am planning on writing a blog post about this plugin and how to set it up since I blog about Genesis Framework stuff. I know the plugin is new and no rush in addressing any issues as I am just playing around to understand it all.

    Hello Derek,

Thank you for taking the time to review the plugin. Sorry I couldn’t reply sooner.

The “Dim Background” option should only place a semi transparent black area over the image. I believe it has to do with some CSS used in your theme. If you could give me the URL of the blog you are testing in, I could check that out. This is indeed the first plugin I release publicly, and I expect to have some issues with some specific themes that would need to be fixed. (the issues need to be fixed… not the themes) ??

About scaling the background fit the whole page. There is already an option for that. It is caller “Responsive Background”. By checking that option, the background would scale to fit the whole screen. Let me know if that is not working correctly to have a look at it too.

Hi, I think I figured out what the problem was. I just uploaded an update with the fix. Please let me know if you are still having the same issue with the Dim Background option.

The plugin does not have a valid header.

Think there is an error with the download.

It should be fixed now. Please download it again. Thanks!
