WP update 4.6.1 changed default lang to spanish

    Hello Everyone, Its my first time on this forum and in the WP/WC arena itself. My site was updated to WP 4.6.1 and because of my geolocation, it set my default language to Spanish. I have tried to revert to 4.6.1-en_US from Dashboard, WP update, but it just sends me to the WP-admin/about page. I don’t know how to install 4.6.1-en_US manually, and I’m afraid installing a backup wont stop WP from updating again to Spanish.

    I would really appreciate the help,

    What language has been selected in Settings > General > Site Language?

    It was the WordPress Multi-language update that changed my default Language, which changed the entire backend to Spanish. I’m not sure which WPML plugin did this, but the tech support at WP Engine were able to fix the issue. And now I know… Restore points before each individual plugin update.
