Extra product and no drop down

Hi,

The double view may be because our theme has is own “things” for the product display… meaning that it doesn’t play well with the rules of integration with WooCommerce.
What theme are you using? If I know or see the way your theme integrates I may figure out a workaround.

No modifications are done to the selections, my plugin is only related with the images. And read the values from the select.

here are the plugins, active and then an inactive list on the bottom, I had some help with initial setup and not sure which theme is installed, or how to check for it

also fyi, when I did install and configure, there were no places to select or use a slug, it would only find the actual color names

Did you go to WooCommerce > SVI and activate the plugin? after…

here is the data, after activating the plug in, the selection only says? “Variation” to select for the image and it lists the attribute – color and the actual names for them, the doc for this plugin shows the drop down saying?? “Variation Slug” not sure if that matters

I’m sorry but in all this information, what are you trying to accomplish? What is the error.

That drop down will allow you to attribute the variation to that specific image when selected on the product page…

if you go to this link now, there will be 2 product images, the one on the left is the original default before activating the plugin, the one on the right is the product and when you click on the image in the gallery, it changes the image but not the selection

Turn of plugin “yith magnifier”, my plugin already has magnifier lens.
My plugin doesnt work with “yith_magnifier”.

deactivated yith magnifier,
deactivated and activated SVI plugin, deselected and re-selected all the variations for the gallery,
clicked update on product page
now there is no gallery at all , and no magnifier on the primary product

I dont understand what you did, but it’s very simple. You only needed to deactivate the yith plugin, not SVI.

I have just checked https://backyardfibers.com/shop/dk-sport-fingering-sosoft/?preview=true , and it’s working! Images are swapping according to select criteria.

Now you need to go to WooCommerce > SVI and activate the available options to fit your needs.

there is no gallery showing on the site, it has been configured according to the SVI doc, I don’t see how this is “working”

When you change the select, images change to match the variation.

WHen you say:

Are you expecting more than 1 image on the thumbnail? IS that what you mean?

On the product gallery you cannot bulk assign variations, you have to go to each image and assign a variation.

yes, that is what I want, I want the gallery to have ALL the variations in thumb nails, which is what I thought this plug in did.

I tried to do one at a time, it has “broken” the site, it will not come up on that page, it just spins, I will apparently have to deactivate this to get my site back.

Hi,

Do update the plugin to the latest version.

If you have a default color to show “It is Aqua” it’s natural that “ALL the variations in thumb nails” will not appear. In this case only the “it is aqua” will show.
If you remove the default color to show, all thumbnails will be showed.
