I had mailbank working before the plugin updated (probably a few updates before), but now I notice when I go to put in settings it hangs on “checking server settings” and if I try to send a test email it does the same.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin. No change.

This is a multi site installation.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Can you please provide detail explanation of what settings are you trying to configure in Mail Bank.

Can you please double check with your host?

    Thanks

Something I noticed when a few sites I upgraded – the SMTP settings had to all be re entered. It defaulted back to the email of the admin user (not the email required as the From for the smtp server) and the SMTP server domain was removed.

Same problem here. The update throw away the present configuration stopping mail to work on my websites ??

Moreover it requires a user/password for smtp which I do not need as my sites run on in virtual machines and the mail server allows them to send if the mail comes from the internal IP.

So for me, the plugin is now useless.

Did anybody think and test before doing such changes?!

Still an issue. The settings keep getting removed. Just upgraded a site and the smtp domain went blank and I had to re enter the info and save and test again. Kind of an issue when you run large batches of sites.

using wp-cli this is what I upgraded from -> to:
