Addon site problem

    My primary site runs fine. I recently updated another domain (kephus.com) as an Addon and installed WordPress. I get a message that installation completed, but when I try to logon (kephus.com/wp-admin) I get this:
    The https://www.kephus.com page isn’t working

    https://www.kephus.com didn’t send any data.
    ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    I have unassigned and reassigned the domain and reinstalled WP to the same problem.

  • Hello Kephus,

    Make sure your DNS (such as nameserver, or ‘A record’) is pointed to the correct location. Try renaming your .htaccess file, as a rule may be causing issues. Also check the (parent) files above for additional .htacess files, since it can inherit rules.

    this looks like it’s definitely a DNS / Nameserver issue

    kephus.com loads a default Namecheap landing page as it’s still pointing to Namecheap

    Follow the Namecheap Guide to setting your custom nameservers and you should be set
