Login to site, not WP

When someone subscribe to my site, they are thrown into the Dashboard instead of the site.

1) Dashboard says, “You have xx posts, contained within xx categories and xx tags. You have 0 total comments, 0 approved, 0 spam and 0 awaiting moderation.”

…which is not true, since this is a brand new user who has not posted anything yet. Dashboard is returning the actual number of posts, irrespective of user.

2) I would guess most people subscribe so they can post comments, not write blogs. So, why should they even be aware of the Dashboard?
